This weekend was Shane’s sister’s wedding. She looked very beautiful and the whole day was super sweet. Doug came with us and him and I decided that champagne and gin and juice would be the night’s drinks of choice. Plus 1 x red sambucca hahhaa, which I haven’t had since I was 18. It stained my fingers immediately and it still tastes like something a pirate would use to soak his dead parrot in. But anyway we had it to celebrate Doug catching the garter, which he has never done before – we were both so excited, something a lot of the other guys on the dance floor didn’t really understand. All in all it was an awesome night filled with much needed dancing. Which reminds me, If anyone needs a dancing wedding partner, drop me a mail. I’ll be there!

After our morningafternoon in Cullinan, we went to the Casbah roadhouse, where we smashed out faces with proper old school slap chips and double thick milkshakes. Yum!

Then we climbed on some horses and I proceeded to laugh for pretty much the rest of the afternoon. Shane on a horse is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He was sliding around like cooked spaghetti on a shallow saucer. He was bouncing all over the place, so was I, but part of it was because I could not stop cry-laughing while the horses were trotting so I couldn’t concentrate on the up down motion. I definitely want to go again, it was so nice.

Ok so the next picture is one of my most favourite from the day because I look about 27 months pregnant in it hahahaa. I look like a pig on horse as my copywriter so eloquently put it. It looks like just the part of the photo that i’m in has some weird Photoshop bulge effect on it (I hope haha). Ride fatty ride!

My Shane came back from the overseas yesterday. He has been gone for ten days, so I’m happy to have him back. He went over there with Desmond and the Tutus to play a few gigs in Paris and Sweden and so got to see Paris for the first time. I love that place so much, it does this weird thing to you that makes you want to stay there forever, I’m glad it didn’t make Shane stay ha! He bought me some pretty pretty presents back, which I’m super stoked about. We had a bit of a quick photo shoot last night so I could show you all what I got, but I was having an ugly day (I hate those) hence the paper bag.
Look at my ‘The Drums’ handbag! Shane got to watch them live in Paris, man I was so jealous. Do you guys know The Drums? They are an amazing amazing band – I’m going to do a review on them super soon. And I got a huge bottle of Gucci Rush, my most favourite purfume in the whole world and some awesome H&M top love and 2 rad tops (pictured below) from Monki – awesome Swedish clothing label, check them out. So I got spoilt and Shane got smooched hee.

welcome everyone to…………………………Wolves…………………………….. this shop has had us running around like mad for the last few weeks, but it has totally been worth it. it is exactly how i imagined it would be and more. what do you guys think of the name? am i going to see you all there? man, i hope so. we have cinnamon sticks and i’m not afraid to say that they rule some serious face, there are also loads of other awesomes so come empty stomached. oh and our book shelf looks a little bare, but we have the latest Frankie magazine – aaaaaaaaa, and lots of cool books are on their way, there is also free wi-fi, not to mention the best coffee in illovo. we open officially on tuesday x x x 4 corlett drive, illovo, johannesburg x x

and if you were wondering why we called ourselves what we did, it’s because shane, greg and i were actually raised by wolves, which is something you probably didn’t know about us and a few months ago, mama wolf unfortunately passed away, so in her honour we decided to call our shop Wolves. yes. the picture above was taken many years ago when we were all smallies.
