on saturday jo and i shopped the whole day. we bought quite a few things, like these pretty gray bowls from @home for the flat and for the shop. i can’t wait to eat ice-cream soup out of them. i also found this amazing small red cooking dish. look at how pretty the detail is. i never really go into @home that much, but that’s all changed. credit card say hello to my new little friend.

i also bought this amazing blue and white floral maxwell william layered cake plate. man alive, imagine eating red velvet cupcakes off this thing. soon my pet soon hee…..

today is friawesomeday. first of all i got this awesome mail from anastasia in dubai.

then i got a brand new laptop. it’s so shiny and mysterious. i’m like a school kid who got a double peanut butter barone sandwich for lunch. as if someone’s mom would do that. i’m going to. my kid is going to be the fattest happiest dancer in the whole world.

say hello to my newest bambi. he came all the way from argentina with my awesome friend leigh. he’s beautiful.

also went past the shop this morning. the floor is nearly done and the walls are getting painted soon. one word- AWESOME. yes.

i also made this little pouch this morning…hmmm… maybe i’ll keep my berries in it.

and last but not least. say hello to my new friend amy. shane and i had her and her husband over for supper last night. they are very cool and look how nicely she matches my (jo’s) cushions hee.

i bought this awesome old school looking salt and pepper set from an interior design shop in the Cape Quarter in cape town. it’s quite nice there, a little too fancy for my liking, but nice non the less.

and then this little guy was given to me by my friend gina king. she ordered it on e-bay a year ago and only got it now. awesome. the funniest thing is how it has been described on the invoice by it’s previous owner – “cross eyed deer”. it sure is. he’s as squint as the day is bright and not dark. shame.

my friend marina had a ceramic dog with a broken leg and now she has a ceramic dog with a wooden leg. much much better. so funny. nice first aiding guys.

i bribed my gran with cake for these two. hehe. beautiful.

i love these two little guys. the one on the left is a salt and pepper set. his watermelon comes off and you can fill it with pepper and he is the salt shaker. i found him at a 2nd hand store for R10. the one on the right i got from my granny. it’s super old and it still smells like the cabinet she used to keep it in. they sit together in my cabinet now. ha i’m turning into my gran. wow.
